KEMPTON, Mavis Christina. (nee Montgomerie). Of Elm Grove, Greytown. On 16th August 2005, peacefully with family, at Palliser Home and Hospital, Greytown. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Victor. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Margaret, Faye and Vince Monk. Loved Nana of Joanne and Andy, Christine and Mat, Stephen and Rebecca; Carrie and Grant, Paula and Dean, Rachel and Gus. Loved “Nana Mavis” of Thomas, Jacob, Ella, Dominic, Abby, and ‘bump’. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Royal Foundation for the Blind, P.O. Box 27-177, Wellington would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer. A celebration of Mavis’ life will be held in St Andrew’s Union Church, Greytown on Monday 22nd August 2005 at 11.00 a.m. followed by private cremation.
