Hobbs Joan - on September 17th 2005 at Malvina Major Retirement Village. Loved wife of George (deceased) and loved Mother of Janet, Bernard, Paul and Pauline (deceased), Philip, Mary, Dorothy and Joan. So much loved by her children and their extended families. Loved Nana and Old Mum to her 28 grandchildren and her 25 great grandchildren.

Remembered fondly as a beautiful mother and as a loyal friend and confident of those whose lives she touched with her gentle guiding hand and for her special affinity with children. In her 90th year, at peace with her maker. Special thanks to the staff at Malvina Major Retirement Hospital Wing for their beautiful loving care of our mother.

A Funeral Mass for Joan will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Pine Ave Upper Hutt on Tuesday September 20, 2005 at 10.00am. Thereafter private cremation.
