Peacefully on June 23, 2011 at Carter Court rest home, Carterton, aged 88 years.

Dearly loved wife and soul mate of the late Dick Brown (formerly of Waipawa). Much loved mother and mother-in-law to Roz & Steve (deceased), Pat & Hilary, Mike (deceased) & Denise, Bernie & Mary, USA, Jim & Judie, Liz Nicholson & Dave.

Loved Grandma and friend of Judi & Paul, Mark & Terrie; Gaby & Alistair, Nick & Jan, Ben & Rachel, Sam & Jackie; Paul, Luke, Sheryl & Tom, Peter; Gabe & Tammy; Isabelle & Reuben, Lucy, Jason, Troy & Bri, Wade & Mela; Josh and Sebastian. Loved great Grandma to Ricky; Will & Gus, Jackson & Conor, Joe, Jesse, and Arlo; Liam and Isabel; Jake, Christian.

Special thanks to the staff at Carter Court rest home for their care and kindness to Mai.

In accordance with her wishes a service and private cremation has been held. Friends and family are invited to an interment at Waipawa Cemetery 11am Saturday 2 July.
