On 13th November 2011 passed away at Summerset Rest Home, Palmerston North, aged 81 years.

Very much loved husband of the late Margaret (nee Houghton).
Special and loved father to Sharon and John Sturgess (Palmerston North), John and Anne (Napier).

A special Grandfather to Sarah, Nikki, Rachel, Nathan, Kylie and Heather.

“Throughout his life he gave his best, he earned his keep, he earned his rest”. Rest in peace.

Thanks to the Arohanui Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Arohanui Hospice, P.O. Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A service for Rex will be held in St Teresa's Catholic Church, Bell Street, Featherston on Wednesday 16th November 2011 at 11.00 a.m. followed by private cremation.
