BROOK-BOYS, Joan Mavis. Of Carterton.

On 1st January 2012 peacefully at home , surrounded by her family. Aged 78 years.

Dearly loved partner of the late Des Brook.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Marie, Desmond and Kawi, Michael and Maraea, David and Lyn, Andrea and Paul, Ann and Rick, Alan, Kath, Shirley, Susan, Ronald and Rachel; special ‘Mum’ to Nicholas, Bobby-Joe, and Aaron.

Loved Nan of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Charlie and the late Ann Brace, and the late Arthur Brace. A loved Auntie and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Kahukura Palliative care Service, C/- P.O. Box 96, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer.

A service for Joan will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Thursday 5th January 2012 at 10.30am followed by burial at the Clareville Lawn cemetery.
