On 17th June 2012 peacefully passed away in Wairarapa Hospital.

Loving daughter of Mabel (and Whare Mikaere) and Tuma Tokona (all deceased). Loved sister of Kumi, Patrick, Katherine, Moana (all deceased), Tuma, Eruera and Clifford. Beloved wife of the late Renata Matua Pirere.
Loved mother of all her children. Much loved grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother of her mokopuna. Darling aunty to all her nieces and nephews. A loving Nan to all her whanau. Beloved wife of Jack and loved Mum and Nan to all her extended family.

A service for Nancy will be held at Papawai Marae, Greytown on Thursday 21st June 2012 at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial at Rangiurunga Urupa, Papawai.
