On 24 July 2012 after a long illness, peacefully at Village at the Park, aged 86.

Much loved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) Zino; dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John & Donna and Tina; dearly loved daughter of the late Luigi & Giuseppina DeCesare; treasured nonna of Joseph and Stephen; beloved sister and sister-in-law of Maria (dec) & Antonio Angerame (dec), Ines (dec) & Alfredo DaVanzo (dec), Emilio & Rosetta DeCesare, Nandi & Maria DeCesare, Grace (dec) & Vince Toscano (dec), Geni (dec) & Tony Tesoriero (dec), Mick (dec) & Eunice Zino and loved by all her nieces and nephews.

Emmy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Francis de Sales, cnr Clyde & Mersey Sts, Island Bay on Monday 30 July at 11am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in Church on Sunday evening at 7pm.
