Born 25th January 1933 in the Island of Tahiti.
Peacefully passed away on Sunday 5th August 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of 59 years to Mareko Johnson, Loved daughter of the late William Tohurangi Tapu and Tiriai Mateau-William and daughter in law to the late John and Josephine Johnson and the late Papa Mareko and Mama Tangiteina Rosalie Raphaela. Loved sister and sister in law to all her brothers and sisters in Tahiti, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia and France.

Mama Johnson will be resting with her family at 5 Mariner St, Carlton Hill.

A service will be held in Holy Name Catholic Church, 420 Great King Street, at 11am on Friday August 10, followed by the burial at Green Park Cemetery.

A family service will be held at First Church of Otago, Moray Place, at 6pm on Thursday evening.
