On 17 August 2012, passed away peacefully at Hutt Hospital surrounded by family after a short illness, aged 87 years.

Dearly loved husband of Roberta, celebrating 67 years of marriage.

Much loved father of Bernie, Laura, Catharina, Liz, Sophie (dec), Hedy, Jermaine and Daniel. Cherished grandfather of his 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

'Loved and lived a full life to the end.' He will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St Johns Ambulance may be left at the service.

John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church of St's Peter and Paul, 60 Knights Road, Lower Hutt on Thursday 23 August 2012 at 2:00pm followed by private cremation.

The rosary will be recited in church of Wednesday evening at 7:00pm
