It is with heavy heart and great sadness that we post this notice to advise of Mum's passing on Friday evening, aged 83. Mum passed away at home in Rugby Street, supported by her beloved family.

Dearly loved wife of the late Rex. Treasured Mum of Leigh and Iki Whakahau, Kerry Cartmell and Arthur Samuel, Sean and Mirie, Greg and Rachelle, Roy and Christianne. A treasured Nan and ‘Nan Nan Mary’ to her 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mary is a treasured Kiwi to her Irish family in Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland.
Mum will be at home, 18 Rugby Street, Masterton, you are all welcome to visit.

Her service will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Queen Street Masterton at 2:00pm on Wednesday 29th August followed by private cremation.
Vigil prayers will be held at St Patrick's Church on Tuesday 28th August at 7:00pm.

Donations in memory of Mary to St John P O Box 515 Masterton would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Our deeply loved and respected Mum, Nan and Nan Nan has slipped away peacefully. Mum had tired from her courageous battle over the past 8 months and is now on her journey to meet with her maker and her beloved Rex.
Treasured and always in our hearts – Iki and Leigh Whakahau, Rachel and Rebe Tamarapa (Gold Coast), Kane and Crystal Tamou and Harper (Christchurch), Sean and Kaylee Tamou and Naquedin Li, Tiana, Ngarino, Ariki, and Tia (Palmerston North).
