DUNFORD, Allan Laurence Godfrey
22nd October 1923 - 16th September 2012.

Most dearly loved husband of Beryl, admired and loved father of Lorraine Hoggard, Grant Dunford, and Shelley Seay; their partners Kerry, Gloria, Alan, and Paddy; as well as Richard Dunford and his family, all of whom had a special place in his heart.

His grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored him will continue to enjoy all the wonderful whimsical stories he left for them, a true legacy of music and words.

The family would like to thank all of the people who cared for him especially Wellington Hospital and Millvale for the warmth and gentle care which they gave Allan as he peacefully went on his way.

A celebration of Allan’s life will be held on Thursday 20th October 2012 at 11:00am at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Rd, Newtown there-after burial at the Natural Burial Section of Makara Cemetery
