Peacefully at Kenepuru Hospital on Tuesday 13 November 2012. Aged 73 years.

Dearly loved precious husband of 48 years to Jan. Loved father & father-in-law of Linda & Dennis James (Carteton), Deborah & Shaun Devaney (Derby, UK), and Mike & Suzanne (Nelson). Loved Grandfather of Claire, Jessica, Jeffrey, and Keeva, and precious Great Grandad of Skyla, and Rylee. Dearly loved brother & brother-in-law of Patricia & Arthur Goodwin (UK), and loved uncle of Elizabeth & Darren, and Lucy & Patrick.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Wellington Free Ambulance, P O Box 601, Wellington or the New Zealand Cancer Society, PO Box 10-847, Wellington would be appreciated.

A service for Alan will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Monday 19 November 2012 at 11.00am, to be followed by private cremation.
