On 21st April 2006 (peacefully) at Roseneath Lifecare. Aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband of Myra (for 62 years).

Loved and admired father and father-in-law of Murray and Ann (Carterton), Ngaire and Doug Jensen (Wallaceville), Wendy and Colin Eastwood (Te Whiti).

A very proud and loved Grandad of Susan and Kenny, Craig and Maxine, Aaron and Kate; Clint and Janine, Brad, Debbie, Jamie, Andrew, and Dane; Sasha and Steve, Callum, and Brooke and loved great Grandad of his 10 great grandchildren.

In accordance with Basil’s wishes a private family service will be held.
