Passed away peacefully on 21 February, 2013 at Wellington Hospital.

Loved father of Michael, father-in-law of Erika and Poppa to Vienna and Nikolas.

Beloved brother and brother in law of Patricia and the late Bill, Gerard and Denia. Loved uncle of Joanne, Marc, Christopher and Dale; Deana, Jamie and Mel and great uncle to Brandon.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Church of St Francis de Sales would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A funeral service for John will be held at the Church of St Francis de Sales, cnr of Mersey and Clyde Streets, Island Bay on Tuesday, 26 February, 2013 at 1pm, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
