Dearly loved husband of Verina-Mary; loved and adored father of Bede; loved second son of Jack and the late Shirley; respected and loving son-in-law of Colleen and the late Brian Slater; brother and brother-in-law of Lee & Lesley, Glen & Meilien, Kay & Vincent Nesdale, Dene, Bret & Anne, Erle & Jackie, and Colleen Slater; loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Phil's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church St Mary of the Angels, Boulcott Street, Wellington on Wednesday 13 March at 1.00pm, thereafter private cremation.
