Suddenly on 5th September 2013, aged 68 years.

Dearly loved and cherished husband of Ruth. Greatly loved and devoted father of Nellie, Tasi, Deborah, Lillian, Pauleen, Eileen, Kathleen and loved father in law to James, Mike, Daran, Dion, Corie, Ahtun and Jason. Loved son of Lloyd and Lorna Fisher (dec) and son in law of Sila Seali'itu Nanai Vatau and the late Tuavalu (dec). Doting Grandfather to one great grandchild and 19 grandchildren with whom he formed a lasting bond. Much loved by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

An honourable lifetime member of the Oriental Rongotai Rugby Club and the Island Bay Services Club and a true friend to many who will never be forgotten.

A service to celebrate Denis's life will be held at the Oriental Rongotai Rugby Club, 22 Park Road, Miramar on Tuesday 10th September at 11:00am, thereafter private cremation.
