GRANTHAM, Mark Stephen-

Mark passed away peacefully on Thursday 7th November 2013 after a courageous fight, aged 52 years.

Treasured husband and best friend of Coralee and loving proud dad of Daniel and Paige. Much loved son of Irene and the late Keith. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lynn and Stephen, Sandra and Wayne and Glen. Loved uncle of Troy, Ryan, Jemma and Katie and great-uncle of Ozzy. Loved son-in-law of Lilian and the late Murray Weaver. Loved brother-in-law of Linda and Paul.

During his illness Mark gained much strength from the incredible support of family, friends and colleagues, for which we are truly grateful. Heartfelt thanks to the exceptional staff of the IPU and community team of Mary Potter Hospice who have walked alongside us over the last 16 months, the staff of Longview Rest Home for their loving care of Mark and the wonderful carers and medical professionals who helped Mark achieve the best quality of life during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and can be forwarded to PO Box 7442 Newtown, Wellington or made at the service.

A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held in the Whenua Tapu Crematorium Chapel, Airlie Road, Pukerua Bay on Tuesday 12th November at 2:30pm.
