On 16 November 2013, peacefully at Rita Angus Retirement Village, aged 101 years.

Gone to be with her beloved husband Bob and precious daughter Lorraine. Very much cherished mother of Geraldine and Lorraine (deceased), and mother-in-law of Freddie Purdom (deceased) and Martin McCarrison.

A very very special nana to Joanne, Rob & Sue, Jay & Bre, Stuart & Carol, Tiffany & Justin, and all her adored great and great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Gwenda's life will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St and Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Thursday 21 November at 1.00pm, thereafter private cremation.
