On 4 January 2014 peacefully at Sprott House.

Much beloved husband and best friend of Joan and the deceased precious Sylvia. An awesome dad to Jason and his beautiful wife Sarah. Adored and treasured family member to Marie and Steve, John and Kris, and Kerri and Fabrice. Best Pops ever to Henry, George and Lucie and best Papi to Nicholas, Emma, Zach, Jonty, Milly, Josie and Louis.

Treasured mate, confidant and wine drinking partner to so many others. He will be sorely missed by so many!

In lieu of flowers please feel free to open your wallets for the Wellington Free Ambulance, there will be a donation box at the funeral.

A service to celebrate the life of Ian will be held in Old St Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon on Thursday 9 January, 2014 at 1pm followed by private cremation.
