On 22nd July 2006 with family at his home, Carterton. Aged 69 years.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Janice. Loved father and father-in-law of Kim and David, Ingrid and Dynes, Rachel and Mark, Craig and Wendy. Treasured Grandad of Vanessa, Daniel and Hayden; Caleb, Jadon and Benjamin; Namara and Arran; Jake and Leroy. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Norm and Betty (London), Pam and Geoff. A loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. A great mentor and friend to many.

A service of celebration for Russell’s life will be held in St Paul’s Anglican Church, Waiwhetu Rd, Lower Hutt on Wednesday 26th July 2006 at 11.00 am followed by private cremation.
