MORRIS, Richard John - Passed away at home on 28 February 2014, after a long, debilitating illness.

Loving husband of Patricia, devoted father to Louise and Adam, father-in-law and friend to Gary and Seb, treasured and precious grandfather of Malachi and Tamara. He was also the loved brother of Mary (deceased), brother-in-law of Gerard and uncle of Josephine and her husband Rod.

Born in 1933 in Stoke-On-Trent, England, John emigrated with his family to New Zealand in 1971. A good man, John was generous with his time and care for his family - and others in the community. He is - and will be, missed so much.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street,Thorndon on Thursday 6 March at 11am, followed by a private cremation The Rosary will be recited in church on Wednesday evening at 7pm.
