On 18 June 2014, peacefully at Mount Victoria Lifecare, aged 80 years.

A loving wife of the late Edward. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Chris & David, Ted & Sandra, Evadyne & Keith, Bernardine & Lindsay, Kathleen & Ian, Eileen & John. Dearly loved Nana by all her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Faye, Neville, and Murray (dec).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 99-650, Newmarket, Auckland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service to celebrate the life of Doreen will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Tuesday 24 June at 11am, burial thereafter at Makara Cemetery.
